Got invited to collaborate on the cover art for Steal Your Life and was given zero direction… just “listen and paint what you feel.” 🎧🎨 Honestly, that kind of creative freedom is everything. I let the song take over and just followed where it pulled me. No overthinking, no rules; just raw energy on canvas. This project was such a blast, and I really feel like the final piece captures the soul of the track. Dark, electric, a little haunting… the kind of vibe that sticks with you. I’ve been a little quiet lately while taking time to recover from neurosurgery. I’m feeling much better now, and I’ve slowly been making my way back into the studio. 💚 Just before my procedure, I created the very first piece in what has since sparked the beginning of a new series, paintings inspired by stained glass trees. The idea of broken glass being reassembled into something whole and beautiful really spoke to me during this season of healing. Right now, the series is still unfolding. Each work begins with flowing, layered pigments that echo the shifting depths of glass, before branches take form - delicate, luminous, yet strong. The fractures themselves become part of the story, transformed into lines of resilience and renewal. It’s a work in progress, both on canvas and within myself, but I’m so excited to see where it leads, and to bring you along as these pieces come to life. 🌳✨ #arthealing #abstractart #fluidart #pacificnorthwestartist

“Gaia” has made it to her new home! This piece has truly been a labor of love. I’m incredibly grateful for this commission—it stretched me far beyond my comfort zone. Until now, the largest piece I’d done in my “Goddess” series was 14"x14"... and Gaia is a bold 36"x36"! We faced our fair share of challenges together, but I’ve grown so much through the process. My client absolutely loves her; she was so overcome with emotions that she cried 💕 Best reaction ever! Huge thanks to my amazing, supportive husband; my voice of reason through every meltdown and near-do-over. I don’t know how many times he talked me off the ledge, but I’m so glad he did.
